With an intention to take the online shopping to the next level, online shopping website Amazon has filed a patent in August 2012, describing the method of "Anticipatory Shipping" where the shipping of goods is done even before you order them. And was granted the solo right on December 24th 2013. The shipping of products is based on the prediction of what the buyers would purchase even before they have bought it.The idea here is to reduce the involvement of human in the process of online shopping and automatically determine the requirements of customers to ship the product in the general direction even before the buyers have placed their orders.
The Amazon delivery patent predicts the supposedly buy-able products using historical buying patterns of buyers preferences expressed via surveys, questionnaires, buyers habits and many more and ships the goods to the selected address or a certain geographical area.
Amazons Anticipatory Shipping has taken the online shopping to the next level of intelligence. Now regular buyers of Amazon need not place their orders on regular basis. If you are one of them then get ready to get surprise shipping of goods from Amazon.
